  1. Son,

No burden is too heavy, because God is with us. His scriptures tell us in Matthew 11:28-30

"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."

You see, I know by faith that our lives are a gift. God created us so that He could love us. He is with us at every moment. Each day is filled with opportunities to grow closer to Him. Sometimes, life can and is hard and our faith can be weak. We do not always see the signs of God's love in our lives. Sometimes, we feel lost and alone. Sometimes, we withdraw into ourselves, and close ourselves to God's love, and fall into sin of disbelief. Then life seems not a gift, but a burden hard to bear.

Yet, remember no matter what .. God does not forsake us!! When the light of faith dawns once more, and we turn back to Him, we see that His love never fails. We see that no day is too long or lonely, no burden too heavy, no trial too great, because God is with us. Pray for His will to be done, Son. I know you hurt, and sometimes our hurts become "selfish love" instead of "selfless love" ... He sees our futures and our sufferings, pray again and again that "HIS" will be done.

I leave you with those thoughts, and this prayer ..

"Lord God, all that we are, and everything we do comes from You, so we give it back to You. May we live only to do Your will. May all our efforts have their beginning in You, and may they be brought to completion by Your will. Walk with us on and through this painful journey, allow our faith and trust in You to grow beyond our imaginations, and guide us along the way. Show us Your will, and give us the faith to trust and follow You in all the directions of our lives. May the journey lead us to Heaven, and may we rest with You in peace forever knowing that with You in control, we have nothing to fear or feel helpless about. We lift our friend, mother, wife, sister .. Delia Owens to You Lord God, in Your Son Jesus' precious name .... amen. "
